TiN Spiral Point Taps

TiN Spiral Point Taps are supplied by us to various countries. These Spiral point taps are ideal for machine tapping through holes or blind holes with adequate bottom clearance. These are also called ‘Gun Taps’ because they shoot the chips ahead of the taps. Also, this reduces the loading and clogging in flutes. The surface coating for Spiral point Taps is TiN and the thread type is Metric Thread and Imperial Thread.

These are designed for machine tapping through holes in a wide variety of materials. The point ejects the chips ahead of the tap, eliminating chip disposal problems and greater tap core strength allowing for higher cutting speeds. TiN Coating increases hardness and lubricity for improved thread quality, higher speeds, and longer tool life.

The taps are supplied by us using the best quality raw material for efficient performance and longer tool life. These are also available in two flutes or three flute design which allows the effective chip evacuation and produces clean threads under normal conditions.
